What homes will look like in the FUTURE!!!

You might be wondering what new homes will look like in the future. We actually talked about this in our sales meeting today. The consensus is buyers are looking for smaller homes with more functional spaces. Here is an article that you might enjoy if you're curious as to what the future will bring to home design: http://styledstagedsold.blogs.realtor.org/2011/03/28/what-new-homes-in-2015-will-look-like/ If anyone is ever looking to buy or sell a home, please let me know at laura.fetrow@cbnorcal.com and check out my website at http://www.laurafetrow.com/

Guess my Weight

To all my friends that are wives or girlfriends, have you ever asked your significant other to guess your weight? I weighed myself at the gym tonight and felt okay about what the scale told me. Though what the scale says and what I feel are totally different, and I was curious if I look as big as I feel. Soooooo, I asked my DH to guess my weight. He immediately told me "That is a loaded question and there is no way in heck (not the term he used but it is kid friendly) that I'm going to answer it." So, he guessed my weight (if you watch my snowboarding videos you will see I'm quite the persuasive talker). The number he came up with made my jaw drop and I was like "what, you really think I'm XXX?" Any similar stories? Please share.

Friends

I consider, for the most part, to be lucky. No, I am not like my brother and seem to hit $1,000 dollar jackpots every time I hit the casino (true story: my brother on his 18th bday went to an indian casino and called that night to say he won $500. Everytime I have ever gone to the casino, I walk out negative $20 from the Keno lounge (yeah I'm an old person and I like it). But I am very lucky, or more blessed would be the right term, to be surrounded by the best friends who truly love and take care of me.

I don't have a ton of friends where it takes me five hands to count all the closest to me, but I have a small group of really great friends. One of my friends, who I should call Airplane (if you are reading this, you know who you are), has remained by my side for as many years as I can count back. Someone who has guided me during rocky times and who has always been my biggest chearleader during my happier moments. Either way, I'm most grateful for everything that airplane is and isn't, for all she has done for me and everything we have accomplished together. It makes life all the sweeter knowing that for the rest of my life she will be there calling out Spalora.

Hello World!

So, I started a second (actually third) blog. The first one I created was strictly to post pictures of my life's travels. The second blog I created was for my charity knitting group - a place for knitters, loomers and crocheters to find out what our group is making and all the organizations that these handmade gifts will go to. And now the third blog - this blog is really my opportunity to journal what is going in my life, send articles that I find that I enjoy and maybe others will too. So, now a new journey begins on a new blog.
