Bodie - ghost town

We are back in our room from Bodie. We are trying to thaw. It has been snowing all day. There were few moments the sun would come out but it was very windy. There was a gift shop and we bought vanessa a cute book about a dog and a couple of kids and the ghosts of bodie. I didn't see any ghosts today but the guy working the shop said the workers are required to live in bodie. They stay in the old old houses and freeze their behinds off to provide us the opportunity to visit. I could never do it. I barely survived today. Thinking about going into the hot tub but the walk to and from would be tough. We are going to get some pizza at the only place to eat - the bar. Still hoping i'll see my first ghost. Just kidding. I'm such a baby. Cant wait to share my pics tomorrow.

bridgeport

In bridgeport typing on my nook - i love this thing. We went to mono lake today. Ill make sure to post pics when we get back. It is absolutely freezing out here. Im so happy i brought my winter essentials. Came back to bridgeport and headed to the local bar Rhinos. Im not sure why i got dressed up because it really was a local bar (pop. 894). I really wish i wore my Bass Pro shop hat and then i wouldnt have stuck out like a sore thumb. Its very cute here and very small. We were going to head for the hot tub but it is so cold that i dont think we could have made it that far. There were little snow flurries earlier. I miss the baby but its nice having mommy and daddy time. Tomorrow is bodie. Ill keep you updated.

Celebrity Apprentice!

J.R. you rock! You and Marley did an amazing job. And, yes, I do like Donald Trump. Am I the only one who thinks he is a nice guy? Can't wait for next season!

Tears Tears and more Tears

Wow! Meatloaf cries a lot!

Ghost Busters

So, I'm watching Ghost Busters 2. Never sure if the first or second one is better, but I do like the soundtrack. What is it about 80's music that makes me want to break dance?

Fun Fun Fun

Today was so much fun. I seriously have the best of friends ever. It has been so long since I laughed so hard - you all are so great. Also, something very funny happened in the midst of all this fun. It is interesting when life throws those things at you that makes you go "hmmmmmm"
What a good day :)

On Vacation!

I'm taking a vacation to Graceland this week - through my daydreams. I've been dying to go there. Who wants to come? Plane ticket is cheap - almost nothing at all. Drinks will cost you, though.

Thank You

I can't really explain life. I'm not sure how it is decided when one life begins and another ends, but today many of the pains we have felt in the last tens years have been vindicated by our TRUE heroes - the men and women of our armed forces. We can never thank you enough for all your sacrifices for our great country.

Rebel Souls

Bad Company!
